Fifteen years ago, I embarked on a journey in the field of photography and videography that would shape my career for years to come. At that time, I was part of a photography studio where I co-founded a brand dedicated to sports apparel, with a particular focus on cycling. We started the company from scratch, pouring our passion and creativity into building it into a recognized brand in the industry.
During this period, I had the privilege of working with a national mountain bike champion, capturing his awe-inspiring athleticism and passion for the sport through my camera lens. The majestic mountain range of Serra da Estrela served as a breathtaking backdrop for our photoshoots. Each image aimed to showcase the intensity and determination of the cyclist as he conquered challenging terrains and pushed his physical limits.

In these photographs, you can witness the cyclist's wearing our fresh made clothing, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Serra da Estrela. As a photographer and videographer, I was not only passionate about capturing captivating images of the national mountain bike champion in the stunning Serra da Estrela, but I also had the privilege of being involved in the process of creating the sports apparel he wore. In collaboration with a talented team of seamstresses, we meticulously tailored and crafted the clothes, ensuring the highest level of comfort and performance for the cyclist.
Our focus was on using quality materials that would enhance the cyclist's experience on the bike. We carefully selected fabrics that offered breathability, moisture-wicking properties, and durability, allowing the athlete to perform at their best while maintaining optimal comfort. The garments were designed to provide a streamlined fit, reducing wind resistance and allowing for freedom of movement.

Looking back on those years, I am immensely proud of the work we accomplished as a team. The collaboration between photography, videography, and apparel design allowed us to create a harmonious synergy, capturing the spirit of the cyclist and highlighting the importance of high-quality, comfortable clothing in enhancing performance and enjoyment in the world of sports.
