Tiago Silva, known as ParadigmStories, is a Portuguese multidisciplinary artist based in Fundão, Portugal. His practice is rooted in more than two decades of drawing and develops through graphite, ink, charcoal, animation, augmented reality and digital media.

Before focusing fully on his artistic practice, Silva worked for many years across graphic design, photography, videography, video editing and creative production. He co-founded creative businesses and developed visual identities, communication systems and product design, experiences that continue to inform the structural and narrative logic of his work.

ParadigmStories is built around hand-drawn surreal worlds in which individual works often behave as fragments of a larger system. Recurring motifs - stairways, labyrinths, figures, clocks, architectural structures and organic forms - move from one drawing to another and create a visual language concerned with time, memory, identity, transformation and the relationship between order and chaos.

The physical drawing remains the anchor of the practice, while animation, augmented reality and blockchain-based editions allow selected works to continue beyond the surface of the paper. Projects such as Tempus Impromptu extend this approach across physical, digital and immersive formats.

Silva's work has been presented internationally in physical and digital contexts, including NFT.NYC, Times Square, NFC Lisbon, Decentraland Art Week and Artcrush. In 2024, Tempus Impromptu received the Best Phygital NFT award at the ftNFT YoCerebrum Awards in Malta. His work has also received an Honourable Mention at the NFT Design Awards and has been featured by NFT Now.
