Drawing as an evolving system.
ParadigmStories is the long-form practice of Portuguese artist Tiago Silva: hand-built surreal structures in which independent drawings remain open to future connection.
Practice
Since 1998, Silva has developed a black-and-white visual language shaped by accumulation, harmonic structure, intuitive association and the tension between order and chaos. Physical drawings form the origin of a wider system that includes animation, augmented reality and on-chain provenance.
The work repeatedly returns to time, memory, identity, freedom and transition—not as fixed themes, but as conditions through which one image becomes another.
